Welcome to Montello Middle and High School. We look forward to working with you this year in pursuit of our purpose to inspire children to be life-long learners and to provide our students with the tools to fulfill their unique potential in a safe and positive environment in a fiscally responsible manner.
Class of 2020 Pre-Graduation Celebration
The video below is a compilation of individual students' pre-graduation celebrations, conducted with safety protocols the weekend of May 16-17, 2020.
We have tentatively scheduled an in-person outdoor graduation ceremony for our graduates and their parents/guardians on Friday, August 7, at 7:00pm (rain date is August 8). More information will be made available as local, state, and federal guidelines become available for that time period. Congratulations to this year's graduates - we are proud of you and wish you the best of luck!
We miss you! (Enough for us to be brave enough to film ourselves singing for you.)
Click here to read the student letter that contains links to the letter sent to parents/guardians and the District's Remote Learning Plan. They contain all the info you need, and how to contact us if we can help get you started. Let us know how we can support you in your new remote learning experience.
Monday, March 16, 2020
Montello Jr/Sr High School classes are cancelled, beginning Tues, 3/17.
Students will take their medication and personal belongings home with them. The school offices will be open until 5:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, so families and students can pick up personal belongings and medications if needed. If a student has their school Chromebook at home, please return it to the HS Office on Monday or Tuesday.
We will mail home additional learning support materials with detailed instructions for 6-12th Grade parents and students. These learning materials are intended to continue student learning the week of March 30 - April 3. We are considering the next four days, early and extended spring break.
We know that the upcoming school closure will create a hardship for many families. We created this Family Resource Guide to connect families with local supports. We have also established a help hotline, this hotline will help families express needs and we will do our best to point you to the best resource. The hotline number is (608)369-2032.
